Choose a home circle. Ana approves your practice membership; you choose which websites receive it.
Each website decides whose approval it accepts.
Questions as we go
Why use Unanym? Working here
A circle approves someone once. Other websites can recognise that approval, while keeping their own accounts and access rules. You choose what each website receives.
Where is my account? Working here
Your email signs you in to this practice Unanym service. Each connected website creates its own local account, with a name you choose and a separate identifier. Your email is not sent to those websites.
How does a website check the technology? Working here
Sign-in uses OpenID Connect with an authorisation code and PKCE. The website verifies the sign-in token, then requests your current choices from UserInfo. It checks membership signatures, issuer, recipient, member and time before applying its own admission rule. Under the hood shows selected actual rows and decoded statements, with tokens and secrets omitted.
Who approves me? Working here
Ana is the appointed organiser for these three fictional circles. Creating an account does not approve membership. Each real community would choose its own approvers and criteria.
How would a workshop know I completed Fundamentals? Proposed
Through your circle, if completing Fundamentals is genuinely its approval rule. This practice does not define training criteria. A separate training record that a website could check directly is not built.
What is an introduction confirmation? Working here
An organiser records completion of the circle’s introduction. The circle must define that activity. You choose whether to share the confirmation separately. It is not a training certificate or safety assessment and grants no access.
Can I meet someone from another country? Proposed
A community website could offer an opt-in directory or contact requests. Unanym can help that website recognise members; it does not supply a directory, matching or messaging. A shared membership is not permission to contact someone.
What if I do not want contact? Proposed
A directory or messaging website would need clear listing and contact choices, blocking and reporting. Those features are not built here. You can decline to share membership or disconnect a website; that does not erase information it already received.
Where are events? Working here
Each practice website has its own event and optional attendee list. Joining that list is a separate action. A combined international calendar is proposed, not built.
How could we deal with abuse? Still to be decided
An organiser can withdraw their circle’s approval. A website relying on it closes access on its next check, unless another accepted membership still qualifies. Reporting, investigation, appeals and network-wide suspension need community decisions and additional work. Missing membership is not a misconduct finding.
What can the shared workshop panel see? Working here
It combines practice records to explain the exercise. Other participants can see your journey only if you opt in. Ordinary receiving websites do not get this combined view. The operator can associate all accounts and connections.
Can sharing return after renewal? Working here
Yes, if the permission remains saved. Expiry or withdrawal makes a membership unavailable; it does not remove the sharing choice. Remove a saved permission in Your Unanym to prevent renewal alone restoring it.
Does disconnecting delete my profile? Working here
No. It stops further sharing and access at the next check. A website can keep its local profile, RSVP and earlier copies. Signing out ends a session; deleting a website’s records is another action.
What happens during an outage? Working here
These practice websites deny connected member access when they cannot obtain a current check. Public pages remain available. A different outage or caching policy would need agreement and implementation.
Can we use WordPress? Working in the local lab
The separate local demonstration has a tested real WordPress integration. These three hosted practice sites are small purpose-built receivers. WordPress protects one selected private page; uploads and other plugins need their own protection.
Who runs it, and what would it cost? Still to be decided
Mavie runs this practice service. Pricing, support, recovery responsibilities and a supported community rollout still need agreement. The demonstration is not an operating commitment.
What if Mavie stops? Still to be decided
A deployable takeover copy is the proposal. Software alone is not enough: the issuer/domain, current records, keys, client registrations, withdrawals and deletion history must survive. Authority and a restore by another operator still need agreement and testing.
When is practice data cleared? Working here
Participant accounts and their practice records are cleared seven days after joining, or when Ana ends the workshop. Provider logs and server backups have separate retention. Use a practice name and do not enter counselling stories or conduct allegations.
Is this ready for real membership decisions? Still to be decided
This is an invited practice workshop. Independent security review, recovery rehearsal and observation of real member journeys remain separate release requirements. Practice approvals are not real community membership or qualifications.
After sign-in, this panel shows your actual practice journey.
